  • RMGC Summer Picnic - 08/23 Noon MT
    DEADLINE NOTICE: Since this is a catered event - WE MUST have your RSVP and payment by August 7.

    It’s time to buy your tickets to the Annual SEC Summer Picnic.

    The Rocky Mountain Gator Club has once again decided to team up with the rest of the SEC and put on the biggest SEC Picnic ever – and we want you to be there! This is a catered event, so a ticket is necessary to partake in the catered meal, but as always, you are welcomed to attend without a ticket – just bring your own food and drink enjoy the day.

    Comon’ Gator’s, let’s show the rest of the SEC the strength of the Gator Nation. Join us!

    WHERE: Mamie D. Eisenhower Park 4400-4500 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver / located at the intersection of south Colorado Boulevard and Dartmouth Avenue (The same park as last year.)

    WHEN: Saturday, August 23rd @ Noon. Food service will be from 12:30PM-2:30PM.

    FOOD: This year our caterer will be Jim N' Nick's BBQ. Your $20 ticket gets you pork and chicken BBQ, three sides, bread dessert, and tea or water. If you're of legal drinking age, you also get all you get all the COMPLIMENTARY beer you like. Kids ages 10 and under are free, but we have to have an accurate head count for them.

    TICKETS: In order to partake in the BBQ and complimentary beer, you must have a ticket - they are $20 per adult and kids ages 10 and under are free (though we need an accurate count). Again, you are welcomed to attend without a ticket – just bring your own food and drink enjoy the day.

  • RMGC Summer Happy Hour- 07/17 4:30pm MT
    Are you missing your fellow Rocky Mountain Gator pals? Well, we are too! That’s why we need a good, old-fashioned, Rocky Mountain Gator Club HAPPY HOUR! Let’s ditch the city for an afternoon and head on out to Govnr’s Park Tavern for a few hours and let’s eat, drink and be merry.

    Come on, get out of that suit and slip on them jorts - its Happy Hour y’all!

    672 Logan St, Denver, CO 80203 (Corner of Logan Street and 7th Ave – just south of downtown)

    TIME: 4:30PM – 7:30PM – or until you want to leave!
    PARKING: Govnr’s Park Tavern is walkable, bikable and for the commuters – there is on-street parking as well as a private parking lot available.

    It’s a 2-4-1 (buy one get one) on all premium wells, drafts, Long Islands, house wines and margaritas from 4pm - 7pm. Happy Hour pricing on food too. See you there!

  • International Gator Day with RMGC - 05/17 9:00am MT
    On May 17th, Gator Clubs® from around the world will unite to utilize the size and spirit of the Gator Nation to positively impact local communities.

    This year the Rocky Mountain Gator Club is volunteering their time with the Denver Parks and Recreation System. We’ll be working in the natural area, debris removal, edging sidewalks, stock piling branches and mulching. So grab your friends, husband, wife and kids and head on down for a feel-good volunteering time.

    WHEN: May 17, 2014 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
    WHERE: Inspiration Point Park, located at 49th and Sheridan.

    *Lunch will be provided*

    Parking will be available along in the parking lot or along the roadway. No parking where signs are posted.

    Please Bring:
    * Work Gloves
    * Filled Water Bottle
    * Dress appropriately for Weather
    * Sunscreen
    * Hat
    * Sturdy footwear (no open toe shoes)

    RMGC will provide you with a Liability Waiver at the site which will need to filled out and signed upon your arrival. The Parks System asked that you do not bring any pets.

    The Gator Nation is never stronger than when we work together for a common cause. Please join the University of Florida Alumni Association on May 17th to show the world we are All Strong for our Community.

  • Annual Ski and Ride Beach Party - 04/26

    Alright alright – here it is, what you all have been waiting for… it’s time for the Rocky Mountain Gator Club’s Annual Ski and Ride Beach Party.

    Beach party you say?

    Yes – each year we snow-loving Gators pilgrimage to Arapahoe Basin Ski Area where we gather and commune with nature and by commune I mean, party.

    Some Gators like to shed on the slopes, some Gators like to surf the powder and some Gators prefer to stay on the beach all day and enjoy the sun and the sand ..uhh.. snow while lounging in their beach chair, drinking a cold one.

    WHEN: Saturday April 26, 2014 – Lifts begin 8:30/9am.
    We’ll be there all day.

    WHERE: Arapahoe Basin Ski Area

    Keystone, CO 80435

    An awesome BBQ lunch will be provided as well as soda, water and “other” cold refreshments– our treat. Around lunch time, the DJ will start spinning some tunes and that’s when ‘Shot Ski’ will make his appearance.

    It’s always an INCREDIBLE party – our SIGNATURE event – you don’t want to miss it!
